Gift of Giving

What is the Gift of Giving?

At Sanborn Place & Home Care we take great pride in our high quality of care,  and the kindness in which it is delivered.  We strive to serve our clients with the best and most efficient services and staff available.  In order to achieve this goal we rely on state funding, grants and above all else, donations from outside sources.  Without these donations many of our programs would simply not be available.

The Gift of Giving Program is a unique opportunity to make such a donation while at the same time honoring the life of a loved one or caretaker.   In doing so,  you insure that the  high quality of care we deliver,  continues for both present and future clients of Sanborn Place & Home Care.  With the growing needs of an expanding elder population upon us, now, more than ever we need your help.  The greatest legacy we can leave is to insure that those who come after us are cared for with the same love and attention in which we or our loved ones were cared for.

Suggestions for The Gift of Giving Program:

  • A Gift in Memory:  Giving a gift in memory of a friend or loved one serves as a living memorial while expressing sympathy and respect.  Bereaved families often wish to recognize the compassionate care provided by Sanborn Place & Home Care, by asking others to make contribution in memory of their departed loved one.  A notice typically included with the obituary using words "In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sanborn Place & Home Care."

  • A Gift of Appreciation:  Many residents/clients or their families like to express their appreciation for the quality of care received.  A commemorative gift is a wonderful way to say "Thank you" to all caregivers while honoring the life giving work they do on a day to day basis for those they serve.

  • A Gift of Honor: Your gift can also pay tribute to a special person or celebrate any occasion.  It can offer congratulations on a birthday, anniversary, holiday or just a simple "because we love you".

Acknowledgement

The person you have honored or the family of the deceased will receive a card notifying them of your thoughtfulness.  The amount of your gift is never mentioned.  You will receive a separate acknowledgement for your records.  Your gift is tax-deductible as provided by law. All commemorative tributes receive recognition in our periodic newsletter where we list donor names and those they have chosen to honor.
